Site Refresh Complete!

We are proud and excited to announce the latest refresh of our website


You may have noticed some "changes" to our website? We are excited to finally release our site refresh bringing a modern and simpler experience. You will find contextual information in fewer "clicks" making it easier/faster to find latest news, events, and updates surrounding the Denton Community Food Center (DCFC), and most importantly how to get help if you need it.

2020 has been a challenging year for us all, but DCFC's purpose of meeting those challenges has not changed. If you and your family are in need of help (or want to help those in need) we hope our refreshed site helps you more quickly and easily understand your options. We may have a new look, but we're the same place. Thank you for visiting.

(behind the Serve Denton Center, off Loop 288 on Market St,

in the Schmitz Family Building.  Use 3816 Market St for GPS/Maps)

Current Service HOURS & DAYS
10:30 am to 12:15 pm on Monday & Wednesday by APPOINTMENT ONLY

You may receive food no more than once every month.

​

Effective July 1st 2024, we start a new appointment system where anyone requesting food must pre-register on line at our website. Once registered, we will determine if you qualify per USDA/TDA policy, and then notify you to make an appointment on line.  All can be done using a computer, e-pad or phone.​

​

Please follow volunteers directions in the parking lot.

Be prepared with picture ID or Food Center card.

 

Our waiting room has two bathrooms and a water fountain for your use,

A standardized selection of groceries will be provided to each family.  Sorry, we must suspend Client Choice temporarily under these extraordinary conditions. Thank you for your patience & understanding.

 

At this time we are seeking additional volunteers, no special skills or experiences are needed. If you want to volunteer, email Volunteers@dentoncfc.org.  She will tell you next steps. We appreciate your support and interest in DCFC.

We are letting those who need community service hours to volunteer at the food center, see the contact information above to contactVolunteers@dentoncfc.org. We are continuing to accept Cash Donations for Community Service (Probation) Hours Credit

MOBILE PANTRIES:

 
The Denton Hunger Coalition has suspended the Saturday mobile pantry. visit their FACEBOOK page at "Denton Hunger Coalition for more info.

On the Third Tuesday of the month Tarrant Area Food Bank is holding a drive-through pantry in Denton from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Check TAFB.org as to locations you can also register for it on this site.
